Self-Awareness to Attract the Success You Want

self-awareness

Self-awareness is not as easy as you might think. If you’re tired of waking up every day with a pit in your stomach because of business stress, then read on to finally find your way to achieve a sense of ease and natural success.

In Episode 64 and 65 of the Marketing Matrix Podcast, Josh Cary of PodMAX shared how to utilize self-awareness to help develop yourself into the person and entrepreneur you dream of being, and focus on the long game to be recognized as a leader in your niche.

Here are some of the most notable takeaways:

Reach Your Infinite Potential: Get Out of Your Own Way with Self-Awareness

Become the person who is capable of attracting the success you want!

In order to reach your business goals, you have to make sure you’re showing up as your ideal self. We’re all capable of infinite potential. With intentional self-awareness, you’re able to acknowledge your thoughts and feelings in real time and truly understand them without judging them.

It’s a daily practice to become the person you want to be. By tuning into yourself, you can slowly remove bad habits and thought patterns, and work to choose a better path towards success. Add one good habit at a time, and you’ll find that in time you’ll be able to add more and more good habits. They compound on each other.

Play The Long Game to Become Established In Your Industry

Wherever you are in your journey, you have to consider the long game in order to become established in your industry and recognized as a leader. Approach your business with a positive attitude, saying things like:

  • I’m confident.
  • I am going to do it as well as I can.
  • I’m going to learn.
  • I am going to grow.
  • I’m going to meet people.
  • I am going to keep my eyes open for opportunity.

Show up daily. Even if you’ve published dozens of podcast episodes or videos or blog posts, remember that no one may be paying attention for a while. Use self-awareness to keep doing the work, whatever it is for you. Suddenly, you’ll gain traction and people will notice your 50 to 100 posts or episodes and recognize you as an industry leader.

You Don’t Have to Spread Yourself Thin on Every Social Media Platform

Choose one platform that you’ll be most active on, and go all in on it. You can have other accounts, but you don’t have to put all your time and attention into them.

By killing it on one platform, you will establish your professionality. Your audience will be able to scroll through your feed and consciously or subconsciously acknowledge your authority because of a great headshot, banner image, and your deliberate and on-topic posts.

With self-awareness, you’ll be able to show up in your business and position yourself as an authority. Do the work and play the long game. Come from a positive place and you will attract the right audience and colleagues.
